F is for fever! Yes, it’s Saturday night, and the mood is Indigo! Here’s a tribute to the Harlem Renaissance under the patronage of Duke Ellington. We go from one club to the other, travelling in time: roaring twenties, swinging thirties, zootin’ forties, rockin’ fifties, soulful sixties, shafting seventies, rappin’ eighties… until today, tonight, tomorrow, dancing to the grave! Oh yes, you can only kill a vampire on a Saturday. And Saturn might be a ringing planet, but the cruel god Saturn ate his children! Dance, dance, dance! Well, it’s really quieter in the synagogue for Shabbat. But this is just another celebration. Samurai, chorus girl or gangster, they’re all so chic!
